Since this is the one real post in a long time, I thought to share with you something colorful, nice and rainbowish. We had an amazing day, here in old and noble Vienna, but the part that definitely made my day was that my family visited me. Mom arrived yesterday from Moldova and they both came with the train from Linz to spend the day in Vienna. We did not make any plans, and it seems that the day was indeed perfect.
Starting with a late breakfast (exactly the way I like) at Bäckerei Ströck on Landstrasse, afterwards exploring the Museums Quartier while hunting the best spot in the shadow, photographing ducks in front of the Parliament and watching teens dancing in front of the Rathaus, walking around the Belvedere Palace while looking for a place to buy ice cream, playing with the rainbow at Hochstrahlbrunnen, were the main activities of the day.
After long hours exploring beauties of Vienna, we stopped by Vapiano for some Crema di Funghi and Estiva and a cold beer.
That was an amazing day, and I hope for some more this summer. Wish you had a nice day too, and enjoyed the sun and the upcoming summer.
