Mid -Year Book Freak Out Tag

Lately I was working for 10-12 hours per day and didn’t have time to post anything. I was very much surprised when I’ve been tagged by the pretty Erika to do this “Mid -Year Book Freak Out Tag”. And I am so motivated to do it. Thank you Erika for the challenge.

Best book you’ve read so far in 2015

The longest ride

I will stick to the Nicholas Sparks –  “The Longest Ride”. It was easy to read and romantic. I probably liked the circumstances in which I have read it (in a hammock at my grandmas house). I prefer sometimes to read love stories, and Nicholas Sparks have the greatest one. The book is actually about two love stories, a combination between a modern one, and one from the time of the war. Who doesn’t like those stories?? I usually cry and laugh when I read. So far it was the best book in 2015.

Best sequel you’ve read so far in 2015

I think I didn’t read any sequel this year, but I am very commited to read some by Sarah J. Maas.

New release you haven’t read yet, but want to

BN-DJ214_ember_JV_20140622153910An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir

As Erika said, many people talk about this book so I want to order it on Amazon and read it. And I must admit I like the cover, like a lot.

Most anticipated release for the second half of the year

0385352123.01.MZZZZZZZI must confess I need to look up what will be the releases for the second half of 2015 year in order to decide which one I want to read. I knew from the start that I want to read from an Asian author, and was surprised when there is a new release of Haruki Murakami. So here I will choose “Wind/ Pinball” by Haruki Murakami. I like this author and would love to read a book of him.

Biggest disappointment

IMG_5220ohhhh I guess I will go here with “Paper Towns” by John Green. If you ever have read my review of this book, you would understand what’s my opinnion concerning this book. I am upset that I didn’t read the “Fault in Our Stars” first. “Paper Towns” focuses too much on the character of Margo Roth Spiegelman, and I had “issues” when reading it.

Biggest surprise

None. Sorry for straight sincerety.

Favorite new author (debut or new to you)

The detective-thriller of Guillaume Musso was good. I liked his style, and loved to read it in french. He has an easy style of writting and it was pleasure for me to understand easily everything.

Newest Fictional crush

The_Maze_Runner_coverOf course Thomas from “Maze Runner”. I always have a crush for these guys, who are just perfect, smart, charismatic and pretty. And when I saw the movie, maaaaa Dylan O’Brien is so goood. I remember him from the “Teen Wolf”, and my love for him suddenly got bigger :).

Newest Favorite Character

The longest rideIra from “The Longest Ride” by Nicholas Sparks. I still remember some quotes from him, like “I am the last of my kind”. I am using it on a daily basis :). I like him because he represents everything I am looking in a guy, that unconditional love to Ruth is supreme, respect for her, and above that the thing that he wanted her to be happy even if she will not be with him… How can that not be a real man?? (inlove)

Book that made you cry

I read in Oktober 2014 “The best of me” by Niholas Sparks. I am not cheatting… Ok, maybe a little. But I didn’t cry this year for any book. Soooo, about “The best of me”…I cried so much, literaly cried…

I gave you the best of me, he’d told her once, and with every beat of her son’s heart, she knew he’d done exactly that”… ;( ;( Touchy

Book that made you happy

I was reading some religious books lately. I know…what???????? But listen, I was challenged to find out about the history of christian religion. And I started to read about Jesus, God and Archangels, and I realized that I was so happy reading about all that, like a wave of harmony embraced me. Crazy? I know.

Favorite book to film adaptation you saw this year

darkplaces104_v-contentgrossDark Places by Gillian Flynn

I love Charlize Theron, even if it wasn’t the best ecranisation of her, I still enjoyed the movie, plus my new crush Chloe Grace Moretz (her lips are wow).

Favorite review you’ve written this year

I had a lot of time to do a nice book review in Adobe InDesign, and I am satisfied with the result, as well as with the content. Check it here.

Most beautiful book you’ve bought so far this year (or received)

Bought it because of the cover and I am always happy to read new authors.

What books do you need to read by the end of the year?

Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn, Maas sequel, An Ember in the Ashes and many others 🙂

By now you probably think I am crazy, it’s not that :). I didn’t read so many books this year and I did this from my really few resources. But I am happy that I went with this.

I am going to tag you guys 🙂
