When I miss Nice…

…I just open the map with photos from the last year vacation and nostalgy embraces me. I wish I had the opportunity this summer to have a vacation in Nice. I know that summer is not over, I just have other plans concerning my carreer at the moment.

But remembering the last summer vacation in Nice makes me sentimental. Nice is great, it’s a perfect holiday destination. I may confess that I didn’t like the beach in Nice, because it was full of rocks and it was painfull to walk. So, a very nice sandy beach you can find not so far in Villefrance-sur-Mer. We have also been to Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, a tiny peninsula with amazing beaches. There are many “caps” like this (Cap d’Ail, for example) which offer a great view and again 🙂 amazing beaches.

Food, the mediterranean food is yummy. For the sea-fruits fans totally recommend. I also tasted some of this stuff for the first time, and some of them I liked, some I needed to try one more time to decide 🙂 .

Of course, there are some sightseeings in Nice, like Place Massena, Promenade des Anglais, the Oldtown (Vieux Nice) but I think mostly Nice is apreciated for its beaches and shopping atmosphere. Yeah, right, Nice is a shopping paradise, especially the rue de France along with Massena pedestrian zone offer some exclusive shops like Sephora, Fnac or C&A, which you shouldn’t miss.

It is important to visit Monaco. It’s just half a hour with the car, but the city and Monte Carlo – unbelievable beautiful. We’ve been to the Palace of Princess, in the port and ate at an outdoor restaurant, the tables were, properly, in the street and people were passing by, it was magical.

I love the roads along the sea and the view they offer.

We spent one evening in Monaco. Managed to see the “Le Palais des Princes de Monaco”, which is a fairytale.

In the port you can see so many expensive yachts 🙂

I hope you understand why I become so nostalgic when I think about Nice… Mmmmm I wish I be there…Anyway if you didn’ decide yet this summer’ holiday destination, I totally recommend Nice, Monaco and surroundings. Believe me it is worth.
